About a quote on happiness

My kinda happiness : ))

"Happiness is in the quiet, ordinary things. A table, a chair, a book with a paper-knife stuck between the pages. And the petal falling from the rose, and the light flickering as we sit silent." ~ Virginia Woolf

This is to remind all of us who needed to hear this during the current times while so many of us are struggling with mental health issues. We never know what a person is going through, we never know how the whole work from home situation is impacting that person's life. Like this there are many scenarios. And this is just to give the reader a thought that everyone's going through this phase but with different set of issues put up in different circumstances. Reader must be thinking, we have got so much of this lecture already. Hahaha. I say okay Reader I get it. Let's jump into the topic of Happiness now.

Many of us think that happiness is something which happens only when big things happen to us. The quote mentioned above tells us that happiness is not only found in buying a posh branded car for ourselves or building a beautiful house within the next year or in jumping into a company on the basis of high salary. Happiness can be found all around us when we look at the things the way they are, when we are truly grateful for things and people we have in our lives. Of course as happiness is there around, problems are also lying around, but nothing changes in complaining about things. There are only two options either figure out a solution or accept the situation. It's not as easy as it sounds but we can make our lives and the people's lives around us better by being more positive and optimistic rather than whining and complaining.

My kinda happiness :))

For example when you're stressed out or bored at work, find something which relaxes you for a while and come back, you'll definitely feel different and may be even positive about things. Trust me, happiness can be found even in the tiniest things. We all can make our lives and the lives around us a little better with a smile on our faces and with positive vibes. This is all I ask for today while we are at homes thinking when's the pandemic coming to an end. Buddy I get you, just hang in there, let's be optimistic about the future. Be there for your loved ones. Make someone's day. Talk to a friend. Review your goals. Find new hobbies. Help your parents. Annoy your siblings ( hahaha Just kidding). Just do whatever makes you happy. "Life is very short Nanba always be happy. " ( Giving credits to Anirudh, Vijay and the lyricist Arunraja ). Sing your own version of kutti story !! : D
